How to do it
- Clean two kettlebells to the rack position, bells on the forearms, elbows tucked.
- Set your feet under your hips and brace your stomach.
- Dip a few inches by bending the knees with the torso upright.
- Drive up hard through the legs and send both bells off the shoulders.
- Drop under them by rebending the knees, catching both locked out overhead.
- Stand tall, then lower both to the rack under control.
Common mistakes
- Dipping by leaning forward. Two bells on the ribs pull the chest down, and the dip has to stay vertical against that.
- Pressing them out. The arms lock as the bells arrive; a press-out means the leg drive fell short.
- Letting the elbows drift out in the rack. Elbows tucked against the ribs is what makes the rack a shelf the legs can drive from.
- Catching on locked legs. Rebending the knees is what absorbs two bells arriving overhead at once.
